Epic Snow Storm (Poem)

Treacherous snows.
All around me.
Shutting the world.
Into a sleep.
The beauty bold.
While dangerous.
Dreary and impervious.
Coming down with fierce glory.
Where grey, clouded, and foggy meet.
Drowning out the sounds around.
Burying what’s left of our ground.

One can’t describe a snowstorm without telling of both its beauty and its treachery.
We had ice on the trees and bushes today. It was lovely and shiny to see the branches gently drooping. But when we walked out to fetch the mail, it was not so fun. 😦
