It’s time to ask you a question:
How often do you stop, slow down, and take it all in?
In fast paced times, we all seem to forget to take care of the most important asset we have. Our mind, body, and soul. Lately, I have been noticing all over social media feed, about the struggles others have in their daily lives. The other day, I posted about struggles I’ve gone through because, I know that place, and want my readers to see that they can overcome anything if they put their mind to it.
What does it mean to slow down, and take it all in?
In life, if we do not give ourselves the opportunity to put things in perspective, we cannot move forward from the points we are stuck at now. Thoughtful reflection is pertinent to place everything back together.
“One does not make change, if they cannot accept that something is wrong.”
It is through life that we “live and learn.” I know for my veteran readers you’ve heard this before. However, I’d like to welcome all my newest subscribers, and thank you all for tuning in.
Some things to think about:
What do you do when you feel like everything is falling apart?
Personally, I breathe, stop, and take twenty minutes to myself to think it through.
Why do I do this?
Because white noise serves to distract us. In life, we are always making decisions. Keeping a clear mind while making these decisions, will help the process go by a lot smoother.
For my fellow bloggers and writers, I am not sure how your minds work, but when I’ve got tons of things to hash through, I cannot be creative unless I journal. Sometimes, my journals consist of what’s going on inside my head at the time. Sometimes, they are short stories, writing prompts, or poems. Really depends on how it comes out for me. The important factor is, I cannot create with a clear mind if every time I try to explain how John ran up a steep hill, while…. With “Oh shoot what I am going to about that?” thoughts inside my head. Doesn’t work.
I know I often repeat unplug, unwind, and forget the world just for one day. Create memories of your own, DON’T share them on your social feeds, and enjoy life for what it is. We only have one, and the clock is ticking. Be sure to take care of yourself when you’re living your daily lives. Work, kids, family, relationships, friends, etc. can all spread you very thin. Don’t forget to do you also.
Happy Friday everyone
