Inspirational Tuesday 4-26-16

Thank you all for your kind, and encouraging comments on yesterday’s YouTube video. If I didn’t get around to reciprocating a like, comment or rating. My apologies. Had to do some traveling, and well… You ALL know what that’s like. I’ve been wanting to monotize my site lately, and I know some of my fellow bloggers know how to go about it… The question I have for you is, “How?” (All tips are appreciated.)

For those of you who recently tuned in, I want to quickly blurb what the world of Rareity is all about. Honestly, a few of you have asked,”Why Rareity?” For two years I’ve held out. But today, im in a sharing mood. “She’s quite the little pistol.” Dad used to say with endearment in his eyes. “When you were little, you were h$/@ on wheels.” 😐 Mom would say with the most sarcastic FYI in the world. OK, so maybe kicking dads sergeant above him (Not recollecting position title) in the shin the very moment I met her, wasn’t the greatest idea. “Wow Mr. _____ your daughter has quite the spunk.” Oops!(😝You thought I’d use the name huh? Maybe getting so angry because mom forced me to sit on Santa’s lap, wasn’t highlighting that halo on top of my head either. I grabbed his present and smacked this total stranger in the face and screamed, “I don’t like you!” … Umm. Stranger danger. πŸ™„ Even still, I was always that daddies girl, a petite little fireball. My life … Let’s just say, there is a cold world out there, and I’ve seen parts of it.  So this lady endured. From early on, I’ve learned, experienced, coped, understood, and beat the odds. A warriors heart and leaders soul. Meh! (How lame did that sound?)

So no… It’s not that cute little pony you see on TV, with cutetacular specs. named rarity. It is something that symbolizes me. With teachings from my father, and wisdom from my own experiences, I grew up to be quite the πŸ‘‡

                                                        Rareity = Rare Entity

Typically, it is also my poet name as most of you have noticed, but it also represents me and my entirety. I grew up faster than most of my peers. I had to. I learned life much quicker. At the bottom line, I’ve always walked to the beat of my own drum. No matter what. If the crowd was doing it … I was avoiding it. Determined to be different. Even though therein lay my struggle, I desired it. A double edged sword. Unliked  because I was too bold. The desire for uniqueness, was greater than the need to fit in.

This blog usually hosts :

  1. Inspirational Tuesday’s
  2. Crystal’s Tale Friday’s
  3. Poetry
  4. My random musings

With each of these catagories, I strive to always reach one goal. Moral tales. EVEN THOUGH IM SARCASTIC LIKE FAWK! The thing is… Because of my experiences, I’ve learned one true and valuable lesson, “Despite life’s up’s and down’s, even when s$&@ goes wrong, you gotta have a sense of humor to break the tension. NO, it’s not ok to joke about/during serious stuff.  You gotta find a way to find the humor in your life. That’s what makes it… Less… Treacherous.

Have you ever tried to take a trip with three children under the age of five? Not the easiest thing in the world…But … Sometimes… “You  gotta do what you gotta do.” You gotta perfectly calculate it just right, or everything kinda just… Falls to … Bleep. Travel at night, their antsy when you get here. Travel by day, their um.. Car sick! Yes my lovely boys get car sick. Bleh! However, my super wifey swooped in to save the day. Our phone call preceded with stories from her car sickville days.

“Carry stirofoam (Spelling?) cups and a roll of paper towels in your car. Get a cup and bunch paper towel at the bottom of it. Fits right in your cup holder, and is the perfect handheld throw up tool.” πŸ˜³πŸ™ŒπŸ‘

I’ve recently met a lot of new moms on WP, and I’d like to give one pointer for you all.  Start your trip early, get to the hotel early, and spend your first night relaxing, and revamping. You’ll appreciate it, the kids will appreciate it, and everyone will be a whole lot calmer.
Today’sinspirational message is: With my kids practically jumping off the walls, I almost hit my breaking point. We didn’t get the opportunity to travel early this time, and it made things harder. What I did instead: I took a deep breath, thought about 6 reasons to be grateful, and six alternate reasons why each of those six choices make me happy. Then… I snuggle up, whispered calmly, comforting, and yes! Confession… I make up my own bedtime stories on the fly.  Kinda… What I do. I then welcome sleepville.

Always breath. Your situation doesn’t have to involve kids. It can relate to anything.

Steps:

  1. Stop.
  2. Breathe.
  3. Count to ten.
  4. Tell me six things that make you happy (I.E bacon, your cat Marcel, favorite comfort food, music, writing, etc.)
  5. Tell me six sub reasons why you like each thing. (I.E Marcel; He is so soft, cuddly, kind, peaceful, etc.

By the time you get to the third item in the main catagories, you’ll have forgotten the troubles in the first place. Why? Because the number one technique to changing your mood, is distracting your mind.

“Change your thoughts, change your life.”

I may not promote my psychology studies at all… But I do still like to utilize the knowledge for you all. Thank you for tuning in to another Inspirationl Tuesday.
