He swooped in.
Subtly sinked in.
She’d began to fear sharing her authentic self with him.
Each time she did, he’d become angry and/or judge mentally shun her.
Oftentimes, spending an exhausting amount of time arguing with her over who she was and why she needed to be “different”
His negativity started rubbing off on her. Like a virus 🦠
In only a few short weeks, he was pitting her against others.
A once bright and vibrant light.
He’d somehow managed to taint with dark clouds.
Her mellow became …
Always on edge.
Walking on egg shells.
Yet another thing he’d twisted on her.
Suddenly the conditioning instilled.
For she no longer shared herself with him in a close way.
That made him even more angry
He was incapable of seeing.
He’d done it to himself.
Those few short weeks.
Was all he received.
As the dark cloud lifted…
She recovered herself
And her sanity.
